Marshmallow Frankenstein Cupcakes

These spooky halloween cupcake idea comes from Better Homes and Gardens are deliciously easy to create in your own kitchen (or lab). All you need is regular cupcake fare, green spray icing, black frosting, and some pretzel sticks. When you’re cupcakes have cooled ice the top with vanilla icing and set aside one marshmallow per cupcake. Using green spray icing, coat the marshmallows with green icing. Break a few pretzels and half and stick each piece in the side of the marshmallow. These are your marshmallowstein’s neck bolts. Mummy Yummy Cupcakes

For our second halloween cupcake idea, we’re sticking with Better Homes and Gardens for some spooky mummy cupcakes. This halloween cupcake idea is painfully simple. Whip up a batch of your favorite boxed cupcakes and let them cool for a while. Using a pastry bag with a basket-weave tip, pipe white frosting over the top of the cupcake. Using red frosting, pipe on two dots for eyes with two black frosting dots inside the red for the mummy’s pupils. That’s it! You’re done! How easy was that?

Patch of Pumpkin Cupcakes

Our final halloween cupcake idea comes from none other than the famous Martha Stewart. Okay, so maybe it’s not the most spooky halloween cupcake idea on earth but it gets massive bonus points for being a wildly adorable halloween cupcake idea. This is by far the easiest halloween cupcake idea also. Simple whip a batch of cupcakes (red velvet would be a delicious option), pipe on some vanilla frosting, and top off the cupcakes with a candy corn pumpkin patch! If you’re ambitious, Martha Stewart’s recipe shows how to make the pumpkins with marzipan and food coloring.
